SSMS Commitment to Develop The Region, With CSR Programs

PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk. (SSMS) continues with the commitment to developing the region, especially in the areas the Company operates. Through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, SSMS helped the light up in the Nanga Bulik Main Market area, in Lamandau Regency with donating Rp144 million.

The CSR program is realized in the form of procurement and installation of 8 units of Public Street Lighting (PJU) in the Nanga Bulik Main Market Area which was just inaugurated by the Lamamdau Regency Government on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

As a thanks to the commitment to assisting regional development, SSMS was awarded an award from the Lamamdau Regency Government as a business world that always takes part in the development process in the area Bumi Bahaum Bakuba nicknamed.

On the occasion, SSMS CSR Manager Kharis Nuryanto conveyed that the CSR program that was realized was a tangible manifestation of the company's commitment to supporting regional development. "The existence of SSMS does not only have a business profit orientation, but also takes responsibility for regional development through various programs it has launched".

As is known, SSSM Group has business units operating in Lamandau Regency. Among them, PT Sawit Multi Utama (SMU), PT Tanjung Sawit Abadi (TSA) and PT Mirza Pratama Putra (MPP). These companies are engaged in oil palm plantations.

In addition to realizing CSR in the form of procurement of PJU lights, SSMS also takes part in efforts to recover the economy during the current Covid-19 pandemic, for example in the form of distributing basic necessities to the community and so on.
