Seminar on Socialization of Rating Studies Respecting Human Rights in 100 Public Companies in Indonesia

 

One of the principles of the business sustainability strategy launched by the company is to support the fulfillment of human rights (HAM) responsibilities for all its employees, SSMS, which is currently registered and has a Business and Human Rights International Standards for Certification 2011 certification (BHRISC 2011) have a part in a seminar on the Session of Rating Studies to Respect Human Rights in 100 Public Companies in Indonesia, organized by Indonesian Business and Human Rights Ranking (IdBHR) on January 17, 2019, at the Sari Pacific Hotel in Jakarta.


Sharing Session Speaker from SSMS is HR Assistant Manager Mr. Hendi Kusuma Atmaja who is also the Deputy Chairperson of the SSMS Human Rights Team. On the occasion, Handi explained how the process and mechanism of corporate responsibility for the implementation of human rights have been going well so far, besides Handi explained further about the efforts of the SSMS to improve its quality in maintaining human rights that must be fulfilled by the Company.
 

For information, BHRISC 2011 is a certificate that was first issued to oil palm company PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk. This standard is accredited by the Foundation for International Human Rights Reporting Standards (FIHRRST).
