SSMS Business Unit Receives ISPO Certification

To meet the compliance of the sustainable palm oil industry in Indonesia, PT. Sawit Sumbermas Sarana, Tbk. (SSMS) has gradually obtained the Indonesian Sustainability Palm Oil (ISPO) certificate.

This certificate is submitted by the certification Institution PT. SGS Indonesia to PT. Sawit Multi Utama (SMU) and PT. Tanjung Sawit Abadi (TSA) as a business unit of SSMS located in Lamandau Regency, Central Kalimantan on August 12, 2020.

ISPO is a policy set by the government as stipulated in the Minister of Agriculture Regulation Number 11 / Permentan / OT.140 / 3/2/2015. In this case, all oil palm business industry are required to comply with the requirements.

CEO SSMS Vallauthan Subraminam explained, the achievement of the ISPO certificate for these two business units is commitment and compliance of the company with applicable regulations, as well as ensuring the management of the palm oil industry that is environmentally friendly and sustainable.

The implementation of the ISPO standard is a form of the company's commitment in implementing sustainable palm oil industry management. And, this is also a form of company support in the industry image of Indonesian palm oil, to competitiveness in the world market
